Which fields can I edit?
Price and compare-at price for each variant, and status (active, draft, archived) and tags for each product.
Why can't I edit inventory, titles or descriptions?
The app only edits the fields listed above. Inventory has its own locations and quantity states in PlatformDTC, so change stock in your PlatformDTC dashboard.
What is the difference between Free and Pro?
Free saves up to 50 products at a time. Pro ($9.99 every 30 days, with a 7-day free trial) has no per-save limit and adds CSV export and import of prices. The charge appears on your PlatformDTC bill. You can cancel from the app at any time.
How do compare-at prices work?
The compare-at price is the “was” price a sale is struck through from. PlatformDTC requires it to be higher than the price, or empty. Rows that would break this rule are not saved, and the grid shows why.
How does “Round to .99” work?
Each price moves to the nearest price ending in .99. For example, $12.30 becomes $11.99 and $12.70 becomes $12.99. A price that is exactly halfway rounds up.
What happens if someone else edits a product while I work?
Before each change, the app re-reads the product. If a value changed since you loaded it, that change is skipped and marked “Changed elsewhere”, so it never overwrites someone else's edit. Reload and try again.
Can I undo a save?
Yes. Open History, pick the save and choose Revert. The app restores each value it changed, as long as nobody has changed it again since.
Why does a large save take a while?
PlatformDTC limits each app to a set number of API requests per minute. The app paces its requests to stay within that limit, and a save keeps running in the background even if you close the page.
What is in the CSV export, and what can I import?
The export has one row per variant: product_id, variant_id, titles, SKU, vendor, status, tags, price and compare_at_price. To import, edit the price and compare_at_price columns of an export and upload it. The other columns are ignored. An empty price leaves the price unchanged. An empty compare-at price removes the sale.
How do I uninstall?
In PlatformDTC, open Apps, choose Bulk Product Editor and uninstall. Your Pro subscription ends and the app deletes everything it stored for your store.
